Geotechnical engineering

As a globally recognised manufacturer, ANP Systems GmbH offers all standard anchoring and micropile systems for special civil engineering in the field of geotechnical engineering. Our product range includes ground anchors, micropiles, soil nails and rock nails, and we use prestressing steel strands, screw-in threaded rods, prestressing steel and hollow bars.

Our wealth of experience in the development, approval, production and application of our geotechnical products ensures that our customers receive systems that meet the highest quality standards.

Micropiles

Micropiles are deep foundation elements with a cross-section of up to 300 mm in diameter, which transfer loads from the superstructure to deeper, load-bearing soil layers by means of surface friction.

Soil nails

The principle of soil nailing involves inserting bar-shaped reinforcements (soil nails) into the native soil to increase the tensile and shear strength of the subsoil, thus creating a monolithic compound structure with a load-bearing capacity similar to that of a gravity retaining wall loaded by external forces.

Ground anchors

Anchors are always used in situations in which high tensile forces need to be transferred into the ground.

Typical applications include anchoring of excavation sheeting or retaining walls, slope and rock stabilisation or anchors for bridge abutments or wind turbine masts, for example.

Tension rods

Tension rods are used as tieback systems to secure cofferdams and quay walls. They are installed in the head area of embankment structures, sheet pile walls, individual or strip foundations to transfer horizontal forces. The tension rods are available with a variety of corrosion protection and prestressing systems depending on application and service life.
